Curoo Curoo Intro is a speaking recording in Yule Be Wiggling.

Anthony greets Morgan Crowley and Denise O'Kane and they talk about the song Curoo Curoo, especially Morgan's native tongue Irish.

Transcript[]

Anthony: Well, everybody, we'd like you to meet our Irish friends, Morgan Crowley and Denise O'Kane. Merry Christmas, guys.

Morgan & Denise: Merry Christmas, everybody.

Anthony: Morgan, you're from Dublin, a wonderful city. What sort of things happen in Dublin around Christmas?

Morgan: In Dublin, it's a lot colder than it is in Australia, Anthony, and we've got Jack Frost nipping at our nose all the time, so we stay indoors pretty much, and there's a hot fire going on in the house. And we can do stuff like baking marshmallows over the fire, and we eat for our big Irish breakfast in the morning, rashers and sausages and pudding, and more food than you can shake a stick at. We have puddings waiting in the oven and Mince pies.

Anthony: Morgan, that sounds fantastic. I want to come to your place for Christmas.

Morgan: You're welcome.

Anthony: Now Denise, in Deriah, it's cold, as well. What do you do at Christmas?

Denise: Very cold. Ah, we go to mass on Christmas morning and then when we return, we would open our presents around the fire because it is so cold outside. Um, and after our baked turkey dinner, we gather round for a singsong.

Anthony: That sounds like fun, too. Now, we've got a song to sing from Ireland, The Carol of the Birds. Morgan, could you tell everybody about that song in a native tongue Irish?

Morgan: I think I can manage. It goes something like... (he starts talking about the song in the native Irish language)

Anthony: Well, that's great. Denise, what does that mean in English?

Denise: What Morgan was telling us is that on the first Christmas, the birds came around to sing to the baby Jesus.

Anthony: That's fantastic. We'd love everybody to sing along with Morgan, Denise, Greg and all the Wiggles in the Carol of the Birds, Curoo Curoo.

Morgan: Hey, Anthony, before we sing, maybe we could wish everyone a happy Christmas in Irish.

Anthony: Morgan, Denise, go for it. We'd love to hear this.

Morgan & Denise (talking in Irish) Nollaig Shona.
