Dorothy the Dinosaur's Party is the first special in the Dorothy the Dinosaur series, a tie-in to her first TV Series. This is the second release to not feature The Wiggles, and to focus on Dorothy, after The Dorothy the Dinosaur and Friends Video. It was filmed in 2006.

Master slate

• The special was completed on June 8, 2007.
• Dominic and his daughters, Ashleigh and Kiara appear together in this video.
• This is the second video that The Wiggles don't appear in, however, they were the executive producers of this video.
• Greg wrote most of the songs in this video before he left due to Orthostatic Intolerance.
• Because this was filmed after the production of Racing to the Rainbow, and during the production of Dorothy the Dinosaur's first TV Series, Greg was also one of the executive producers before he left.
• Likewise, this is the second Dorothy video to be made when Greg was the yellow Wiggle, and the first one released when Sam was the Yellow Wiggle.
• The Hong Kong DVD release does not contain any menus or special features.
• This special wasn't released in the UK, Canada, and the USA until The Wiggles partnered with FilmRise worldwide.
