Mark Punch is an Australian-born American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who has performed as a backing vocalist and occasional musician on several Wiggles albums. He is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee as of 2016, and has won the 2011 Golden Guitar Award for Musician of the Year.

Punch's musical career first started in the 1970s, when he performed with Australian jazz and blues/soul band Mother Earth and later backed Mother Earth vocalist Renee Gayer on several of her early solo albums. Punch has since worked as a touring and session musician for various other well-known Australian artists such as Tim Finn, Slim Dusty, Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar-Daley, Jimmy Barnes, Kasey Chambers, and former Wiggle Sam Moran among many others. In 2007, Punch performed with New Zealand born American singer-songwriter Jackie Bristow on her album Crazy Love, and would subsequently form a long-term musical partnership with Bristow that still lasts to this day.

  • While Punch did not write any original songs with the Wiggles, the song "Heading in the Right Direction", which he co-wrote with Garry Paige, was briefly performed by King Mondo in Space Dancing!.
